My name is Lauren, but some people call me Ren. When school and work are not eating my soul, I can be found wandering my neighborhood with my camera (whose name is River) or my iPod (whose name is Eugenides), drinking copious amounts of tea, haunting the library, watching nerdy British television, playing the violin (badly), or doing yoga. I'm an incorrigible idealist, and quite silly (i.e. I have no common sense whatsoever).

A future English major, I love everything from science fiction to children's literature to classic literature to poetry, and I own about three hundred books. I rhetorically analyze and read literary criticism for fun. Therefore, if you don't love to read - enter at your own peril. (Just sayin'.)
